My best car of the year even though it was the slowest!
This car took the longest to build having to sort out a seat and the brakes before it could be raced. Race one and it wasn't quite running right and I was slowly running round the track getting slower and slower until it died with 3 laps to go right in the middle of the first turn, I was amazed that it didn't get hit. Race two and it was running perfectly although it was still slower than everything else on the track! The aim was just to get in the way. All the other drivers were afraid of hitting the back I could watch them slow up and try to find a way pass rather than push it. Little Biggles was one driver to fall foul of trying to come passed. A few laps later someone finally latched onto the back door and pushed me across the speedway and into the tyres where the car rolled and unfortunately didn't go back onto all fours. This was the first time I have rolled a car.
In the third race the same tactic was employed until someone got in the way and took a flat out shot from the victor which caused it to start to snap and killed it. We couldn't get the car ready in time to bring it out for the Unlimited banger DD. Another piece of history bites the dust.
