This is the most expensive car that I've bought to date, this cost £50. But it was worth it as it lasted 3 meetings and gave me my best finish of the year so far, a 4th in its first meeting. As you can see below it came back from its first meeting fairly straight. The first race was a non starter as the throttle stuck wide open and being automatic it didn't really want to stop, so it was back to the pits, the second race and I actually completed a race which is quite novel for me and in a reasonable place, The third race and it was going quite well until it got spun round and smacked in the nose causing the throttle linkage to break which led to retirement. With the throttle linkage fixed the car returned to fight again. This meeting was a complete disaster about 4 laps into the race it got spun and hit hard in the passenger door which caused the throttle to break once more. After getting the car back into the pits the damage was more terminal. The impact and caused the engine mounts to break. The engine jumped to side so far it snapped the oil filter off and it was finished for the evening. With engine mounts and throttle repaired the car was ready for action once more. The third meeting and the action was a little heavier, In the last race the car was crabbing badly so it was a case of getting in the way. The race was cut short when it got spun out and got wedged on the tyres on the speedway track, which meant the end for the coupe.
